Looking to expand their home from Singapore, the owners of the property chose Elliot James to redesign this new build five-bedroom landed property in the Iskandar area of Johor in Malaysia.

Provided with a basic shell of a property, Elliot James were tasked with designing a new wet and dry kitchen area, two living rooms, three bedrooms including a master bedroom and the transformation of two guest bedrooms into one large dressing room with back lit shoe display and handbag storage. Elliot James also completed the redesign of the pool and garden area and created a pergola extension with covered roof for additional outdoor living space. The style desired was a simple muted look working in a number of pieces already owned by the clients. With a fondness of a few statement pieces the design was kept simple, elegant and allowed these items to stand out against the background of a classic, timeless colour palette.
