Interior Design Singapore

MEYER ROAD, SINGAPORE

This inverted penthouse was redesigned to create a functional, yet beautiful family home that offered plenty of space for entertaining. Due to the vast ceiling heights of the living areas, it was a priority to ensure that the space felt warm and cosy, without cluttering it.

A 5-metre curved green sofa is the showpiece of the lounge, with a bespoke floor to ceiling shelving unit which allows the styling of the space to constantly evolve as the client wishes. A 10-seater smoked glass dining table, teal Gallotti & Radice dining chairs and a Cox London chandelier create wow factor in the dining area, whilst Minotti patio furniture compliment the incredible rooftop terrace. As the living spaces are completely open plan, it was important that the flow between each room was seamless, and the spaces lead into one another effortlessly.

The client wanted the bedrooms to fully reflect the family’s personalities. The daughter’s bedroom uses a loft bed to provide maximum floor space to play, a seating area for her to do crafts, plenty of inbuilt storage, with a very girly and fun colour palette. The son’s room needed to grow with him, we used Pierre Frey navy blue wallpaper to give the room texture and interest, dark furniture for a classic and refined style and ensured plenty of shelving allowed him to display his extensive lego collection.
